About the Principal
She is an International Media Professional , Poetess, Media Researcher & Academician. She is the first Gujarati to pen an Anthropological aspect of – Indonesia’s Travelogue series in vurnacular press of Gujarat. Her doctoral thesis on “Community Radio for developmment” is a first ever kind of Field Research Case studies across Western India, also published later as a reference book for radio researchers. She has been awarded as “BEST MEDIA TEACHER” prestigious ward from BHARTIY VIDYA BHAVAN’S-HBICM, Ahmedabad in 2015 by H.E Governor of Gujarat. She has travelled across many southeast Asian countries, to explore communication through Culture as a diplomat spouse from 2016 to 2020. Have presented her research works at 6 international conferences and 7 National Conferences.
Her identity as youngest Kutch-Gujarati Poetess is recognized by Kutch Shakti National Award-2005, & Suresh Gandhi Award in 2001. She has penned 2 Gujarati Poetry books so far and 1 motivational youth dialogue series publication name “VITAMIN P” . Her media industry exposure of two decades comprises of her association with all major, National Media Doordarshan-ALL INDIA RADIO, DECU-ISRO in Gujarat & Private Media Players like Etv-Gujarati(Program Executive), Reliance Radio BIGFM(Producer).
