At Sigma, we wish to provide opportunities for everyone to learn new skills and grow. Our Bakrol campus is a Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) centre. We offer many services for skill development activity, which are supported by the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).
Industry batch by Sigma Shefield Technoplast Skill Centre
Based upon the cultivating Plastic Technology in today’s trend trained skill manpower has always been a question for the plastic industries. There is a visible shortage of training institutes in the vicinity of Vadodara which can prepare the proficient group of technicians.
Thus,looking at demand and to further enhance its skill development activity, Sigma Group of Institute is opening, on date: 6/7/2018, Sigma-Shefield Technoplast Skill Centre in Plastic molding supported by Centre for Entrepreneurship Development. Skill Centre will be functional at Bakrol Campus near Vadodara.
This centre will be inaugurated by Mr. Ramnath Prasad, Director, CED.

Sigma Group of Institute believes in skilling the man power to meet the real time demand of Industries. To meet this need, Sigma runs many skill development program including PMKK, PMKVY etc. Thus, Sigma Group of Institute is hosting this skill centre at its Bakrol Campus.
About Shefield Technoplast Pvt. Ltd
Shefield Technoplast Pvt. Ltd is a leading Precision Plastics Components, Assemblies and Metal Machining. It is associated with Indian Plastic Institute’s(IPI) Vadodara Chapter. Director of Shefield Technoplast Pvt. Ltd , Mr. D.P Solanki ,president of IPI’s Vadodara chapter, believes in imparting skill training along with academics to meet industry demand. Thus, Shefield Technoplast Pvt. Ltd in partnership with Sigma Group of Institute has taken this initiative to open plastic skill centre.
Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED)
The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is a premier Organization of Government of Gujarat engaged in Entrepreneurship Development Training since 1979 and Skill Development since 2009. Concept behind CED is to develop entrepreneurs in the urban as well as rural areas of the state, who can establish their own Enterprise (Trading/Service/Manufacturing) which in turn aids in economic growth of the state and also creates employment opportunities for others.Centre will run short term certification courses in plastic injection molding. Syllabus of the courses has been approved by Team Lease Skill University (TLSU). Centre will also provide placement assistance to the successful candidates.
